1.Pure Cotton:
Natural fabric, comfortable to wear, breathable, warm, but wrinkle-prone, difficult to care for, poor durability, easy to fade. Therefore, very few 100% cotton fabrics, usually containing more than 95% cotton, are called pure cotton.
Advantages: strong hygroscopicity, good dyeing performance, soft hand feeling, comfortable wearing, no static electricity, good air permeability, anti-sensitivity, simple appearance, not easy to be eaten by insects, firm and durable, easy to clean.
Disadvantages: high shrinkage, poor elasticity, easy to wrinkle, poor shape retention of clothing, easy to mildew, slight fading phenomenon, not acid-resistant.
2.Organic Cotton
It is a kind of cotton that uses non-GMO cotton seeds and is produced and certified according to organic agricultural standards. Its planting process does not use any chemical fertilizers or pesticides, and it is environmentally friendly and pollution-free.
Advantages: Soft feel and bright color, the wear resistance and elasticity of organic cotton will be much better than ordinary cotton, not easy to mildew, not allergic, better absorption, ventilation and warmth. Disadvantages: high cost, expensive, very general wrinkle resistance, easy to stick hair.
3. 100% Cotton Mercerized Fabric
Advantages: After the cotton fabric is treated with high concentration of caustic soda (wool), the hand feel is smooth, the color is bright, silky luster, and it is comfortable to wear. Disadvantages: There is a slight fading phenomenon.
4. T/C Fabric (Polyester/Cotton)
It refers to the collective name of polyester and cotton blended fabrics. Textiles woven with 65%-67% polyester and 33%-35% cotton blended yarns are commonly known as cotton. Polyester-cotton blended products, generally those with a higher cotton content than polyester are called CVC yarns, and vice versa, T/C yarns. We usually say CVC refers to products with a cotton content of more than 65%, and those with a C/T ratio below 55/45 are generally still used. It is called T/C yarn.
5. Lycra (Spandex)
It is a fabric made of spandex fiber (short for Spandex polyurethane fiber).
Advantages: good elasticity, good alkali resistance and heat resistance. Disadvantages: It is easy to yellow when exposed to the sun, and it is easy to mold when wet.
6. Denim
It is a relatively thick yarn-dyed warp twill cotton fabric with dark warp yarns, generally indigo blue, and light weft yarns, generally light gray or scouring white yarns. Also known as indigo labor cloth.
Advantages: a piece of fabric can be washed with infinite colors and styles. Disadvantages: The color fastness is not good, the color fading is severe, and the color of the clothes cannot be controlled. Among them, thin cloth: soft, comfortable, cool, light but easy to wrinkle, not wear-resistant. Thick cloth: wear-resistant, wear-resistant, washable, not easy to wrinkle but feel hard, not easy to wash.
6. Corduroy
Cotton fabrics with cut wefts and vertical piles on the surface are named after the corduroy strips are similar to rushes. The raw material of corduroy is mainly cotton, but also blended with polyester, acrylic, spandex and other chemical fibers.
Advantages: soft to the touch, round and straight velvet strips, clear lines, plump fluff, firm and wear-resistant texture. Disadvantages: It is easy to tear, especially the tear strength along the direction of the pile is low, and it is easy to stick to the hair.
7. Cotton and Linen
A general term for cotton and linen blended fabrics. Cotton and linen blends refer to textile products that are woven with cotton and linen in a certain proportion.
Advantages: excellent air permeability, fast moisture absorption and dehumidification, light and cool, antibacterial and mildew proof, anti-static, anti-radiation and anti-allergic.
Disadvantages: suitable for hand washing, easy to deform, fluff, serious floating color, easy to yellow, easy to fade when exposed to sunlight.
8. Flax
It is a vegetable bast fiber, which is 30% stronger than cotton fiber.
Advantages: The appearance style of natural hemp fabric is firm, drapeable, and breathable. Disadvantages: unstable shrinkage, easy to wrinkle, poor color fastness, best dry cleaning.
9. Silk
A textile, woven from silk or synthetic fibers, man-made fibers, and filaments; a general term for various silk fabrics woven from silk as raw materials.
Advantages: colorful, lustrous, noble and elegant, comfortable to wear, sound-absorbing, dust-absorbing, heat-resistant, anti-ultraviolet, good in absorbing and releasing moisture.
Disadvantages: easy to wrinkle, easy to suck, not strong enough, fading quickly.
10. Woolen
Also known as wool, it is a general term for fabrics woven from various types of wool and cashmere.
Advantages: anti-wrinkle and wear-resistant, soft to the touch, elegant and crisp, elastic, and good thermal performance.
Disadvantages: Mainly it is more difficult to wash.
11. Cashmere
It is the thinnest animal fiber in the world, with an average fiber fineness of only 12-15 microns.
Advantages: comfortable to wear, strong warmth retention, plump suede, soft touch, soft luster, unique style.
Disadvantages: washing machine can not be used, drying can not be hooked, improper storage is easy to be eaten by insects, and improper handling is easy to fall lint.
12. Velvet
The one side of the velvet weft knitted fabric, the suede formed by upright fibers or yarns is covered with a fine pile of 1.5-5cm in height, which is soft to the touch and resembles a swan-like inner pile, hence the name velvet.
Advantages: bright and natural color, full velvet feel, comfortable and soft to the touch.
Disadvantages: Inadvertently stacking velvet garments, it is easy to damage the natural direction of the fluff, difficult to recover, prone to static electricity, and small fluff particles.
13. Coral Fleece
It is a new type of fabric. Coral fleece, as the name suggests, is a colorful, coral-like textile fabric with good coverage.
Advantages: fine texture, soft feel, no lint, no pilling, no color fading, excellent water absorption, no irritation to the skin, no allergies. Disadvantages: It is easy to generate static electricity. Due to the principle of weaving, there will be hair loss. It is recommended to wash it before wearing. Due to the loss of floating hair, it is recommended that people with allergies and asthma should avoid wearing this fabric.
14. Chiffon
Also known as georgette, it is a kind of silk fabric woven by strong twist crepe warp and crepe weft. The warp and weft are made of S twist and Z twist with two different twist directions, and they are placed in ZS and 2Z. , staggered in a plain weave arrangement, and the warp and weft density of the fabric is very small.
Advantages: light and soft, natural drape, skin-friendly, cool and breathable, light and elegant appearance, elegant and comfortable to wear. Disadvantages: It is easy to become gray and shallow after washing, and it will turn yellow when exposed to the sun. It is relatively troublesome to take care of, lack of firmness, easy to stretch sand, and easy to tear at the suture.
15. Nylon
The scientific name is nylon, the chemical name is “polyester amine fiber”, and “nylon” is the transliteration of the name of the product. Now it is also called nylon on the market. Nylon is the earliest synthetic fiber in the world. It has excellent performance and rich raw material resources. , so that it has been used to this day.
Advantages: soft and lightweight, strong waterproof and windproof performance, high wear resistance, good strength and elasticity. Disadvantages: not fast to the sun, easy to age, not ventilated, easy to snag.
16. Leather
Leather is a tanned animal fur fabric. It can be divided into two categories: one is leather, that is, leather that has been dehaired. The second is fur, which is treated leather with fur.
Advantages: light and warm, elegant and luxurious.
Disadvantages: expensive, storage, care requirements are higher.
